For many, it is a time of reflection, education, and commitment to advocating for mental health. The mission of Catholic Charities of Fairfield County (CCFC) New Outlook Counseling is to stand in solidarity with those struggling and to provide compassionate and professional care.

This Saturday, September 9th, New Covenant Center, a program of Catholic Charities of Fairfield County, will be participating in NBC 4 NY and Telemundo’s sponsorship of “Feeding our Families” in the tri-state area. Over 200 Stop and Shop locations will be the sites of local food pantries who will collect donated items to distribute to people in need. The overall goal is to reach $1 million in donated food throughout the region.

After a year of homelessness and life’s formidable challenges, Alissa became a participant in Catholic Charities of Fairfield County’s CCR Housing Program, where she was paired with Ms. Nataya Perry, a dedicated Senior Case Manager. Ms. Perry’s role was pivotal in helping Alissa secure housing and facilitating her connection to vital community resources.

BRIDGEPORT — Parishes throughout the diocese will take up a special collection to address the critical needs of those who have survived the Maui wildfires. Parishes have the options to hold the collection on the weekend of August 19 and 20 or the following weekend, August 26 and 27. Individuals can also make a donation.
