Requirements:

BA degree or comparable experience in human services required. MS degree preferred.

Experience with generating and monitoring program budgets required. Grant writing experience a plus.

Ability to lead and inspire staff, volunteers, and guests in a culturally-diverse setting.

Five years human service management or equivalent management experience which correlates to the Merton service model.

Office Manager – Catholic Charities Behavioral Health Services

This part-time position (21-28 hours/week) will be responsible to direct all administrative operations in the Danbury and Norwalk Behavioral Health Clinics to ensure that the staff, clients and facility are adequately supported.

Responsibilities include:

Supervision of office staff; maintaining facility under the supervision of the Director; oversees and maintains staffing schedules; ensures the execution of all office operations, including regular communication with clinical team to ensure they have the needed tools and support to perform their jobs.

Required experience and skills:

  • Minimum of three years experience in office management.
  • Technical proficiency in Word, Excel, and /or experience in administrative work and designing basic office systems.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Prior experience in supervising administrative staff
  • Bachelors degree preferred

Responsibilities include:

  • Monitor cafe during meal services;
  • Provide protection to guests, staff and volunteers;
  • Enforce crowd control, defuse potentially volatile situations, and intervene and exit violators when necessary.

Skills Required:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. 
  • Able to work to a flexible, seven-days/week schedule.

Outreach Case Manager (Full Time)

Catholic Charities of Fairfield County is seeking a dynamic individual to fill the full-time position of Outreach Case Manager with the Homeless Outreach Team in Danbury, CT.

The qualified candidate will be responsible for implementing CCFC’s strategic mission through the core function of strengths-based client support which will include, but be not limited to: street outreach, engagement, assessment, goal planning, service referral, and advocacy.  The Outreach Case Manager will be responsible for engaging with a variety of individuals experiencing street homelessness on goals such as accessing housing, benefits, clinical, medical and substance services, and other resources.

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related field and/or relevant work experience in the fields of mental health, substance abuse, or homelessness.   Advanced communication and problem-solving skills, valid driver’s license, vehicle, and proof of current registration and insurance, experience in data management and reporting required. Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
