Putting Children First is a Parenting Education Program (PEP) designed to help parents understand the impact of divorce, separation, and ongoing conflict on children, while providing practical tools to support their child’s adjustment during family transitions.
This program is court-mandated and is only available to parents who have been referred by the court as part of the divorce process. Participation is required in order to meet court requirements for the finalization of a divorce.
The program consists of a 6-hour training led by a certified PEP trainer with advanced degrees in child development, education, family systems, counseling, or social work. Sessions are offered monthly, either in person or via telehealth. The cost is $150 per participant.
