Assistant Preschool Teacher

Room To Grow | Norwalk, CT

Assist in providing high-quality care and education for children aged three-to-five, supporting classroom activities, development, and family advocacy.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, implement, and evaluate child development experiences.
  • Maintain a safe, diverse, and developmentally appropriate classroom.
  • Support and advocate for families.

Education & Experience

  • Degree in early childhood education, child development, or related field with 12+ credits in child development or early childhood education.
  • Minimum 2 years experience at a licensed preschool or similar setting.
  • Knowledge of CT ELDS, NAEYC, and DPH/OEC licensing preferred.
