Four school buses were filled with donations, which will benefit the Bridgeport Rescue Mission, the Sterling House Community Center and the Thomas Merton Center.
During Whole Foods Market’s opening morning celebration, New Covenant Center received a refrigerated van and food donation from Whole Foods Market as part of the Nourishing Our Neighborhoods program. This initiative, launched in 2020, aims to enhance the ability of local food rescue organizations to transport surplus food to areas facing the greatest need.
