Thanks to the generosity of our donors and partners, our kitchen just got a big upgrade! A new pancake griddle and freezer are helping us serve more meals than ever, up to 200 pancakes an hour! With continued food donations from Dorothy Day, we’re keeping our freezer stocked and our community fed. Helping our neighbors is what we do BEST!
New Covenant Center is a wonderful place to volunteer in Stamford, Connecticut, whether you are a group or an individual. We have long term volunteers who will attest to how their actions provide help and hope as they feed those in need at NCC.

A modern-day prophet, Pope Francis read the signs of the times and awakened us to meaningful change in our behavior — within the Church and within the world. Complex challenges such as extreme poverty, homelessness, mental illness, forced migration, climate change and war did not intimidate him; they broke his heart and inspired him to call for a more merciful, charitable, just and other-centered world.

When Ivy joined Room to Grow Preschool at the age of three, she had already been through two other preschools and had been asked to leave both. Her days were filled with big emotions, and her frequent outbursts made it difficult for her and her classmates to enjoy the learning environment. But at Room to Grow Preschool in Norwalk, CT, we believe every child deserves an education and a place where they feel seen, supported, and valued.
