Students who took part in the food drive helped load canned food onto a van sent by the Thomas Merton Family Center, a nonprofit that provides food and other free services to the community.

The Growing for Good Garden at Our Lady of Fatima, in partnership with Catholic Charities, is set to donate 750 pounds of fresh produce to the Thomas Merton Family Center food pantry this summer.
Catholic Charities has announced that it will name the dining hall of the new Thomas Merton Family Center for Father Charles Allen, SJ, longtime assistant to the president of Fairfield University, and friend of Merton Center.
