Community Support Specialist
Part-Time Position
Catholic Charities of Fairfield County is seeking a compassionate and motivated part-time (21 hours/week) Community Support Specialist to join our Community Support Program (CSP) in Bethel, CT. CSP provides community-based support services to adults living with severe mental illness, helping them build the skills needed to live independently and thrive in their communities.
Responsibilities Include
- Providing community-based rehabilitation and life skills coaching
- Assisting clients with recovery planning, goal setting, and community integration
- Teaching independent living skills and promoting recovery-oriented practices
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation
- Participating in team meetings and clinical supervision
Responsibilities Include
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant human services experience
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends
- Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance required
