The line is open from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday–Friday.
Catholic Charities’ Homeless Services programs are intended for those who are at imminent risk of or currently experiencing unsheltered homelessness. Our services can be accessed by:
– Calling 211
– Calling Catholic Charities’ Danbury Hub at 203-743-4412 and selecting Option 3
– Making use of our walk-in hours at 405 Main Street in Danbury on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 10:00am-3:00pm.

Services
How We Help
Catholic Charities cannot directly place people in housing. Those in need of assistance should call 211 or contact Catholic Charities’ Danbury Hub.
Street Outreach
Our outreach programs engage unsheltered individuals where they are and help connect them to housing opportunities and critical resources.
Homeless-to-Housing (H2H)
Our H2H Specialist works with those experiencing unsheltered homelessness through every step of the homeless services system, engaging them through street outreach and staying connected by providing housing location and stabilization and ongoing housing case management.
CAN Navigation and Diversion
We complete assessments, help prevent homelessness whenever possible, and work with clients to resolve housing crises quickly.
SOAR
SSI/SSDI Outreach, Access and Recovery
Our certified SOAR Specialist helps eligible clients apply for Social Security SSI and SSDI benefits.

After a year of homelessness and life’s formidable challenges, Alissa became a participant in Catholic Charities of Fairfield County’s CCR Housing Program, where she was paired with Ms. Nataya Perry, a dedicated Senior Case Manager. Ms. Perry’s role was pivotal in helping Alissa secure housing and facilitating her connection to vital community resources.

From Homelessness to Stability: One Client’s Journey with Catholic Charities’ Housing Program
Dawson Brown, a 64-year-old man, has finally found stability in his life after years of struggling with homelessness and various challenges. In November of 2022, Mr. Brown was enrolled in the CCR Housing Program and was assigned Ms. Nataya Perry as his Housing Case Manager.
