May is Mental Health Awareness Month. Each May we raise awareness about the importance of mental health and its impact on the well-being of every person.

  • Catholic Charities Behavioral Health Counseling Services serves ALL and accepts most private insurances. The program provides counseling and support to children, adolescents, adults, seniors and families of Fairfield County.
  • Catholic Charities Community Support Program is funded by the Department of Mental Health & Addiction Services (DMHAS) and is contracted to provide skill building and life skill services to adults with psychiatric disabilities in the Greater Danbury area.
  • New Heights is a wellness and recovery center for adults with mental illness. The DMHAS funded, holistic programming includes classes such as Food and Nutrition, Positive Thinking, Mindfulness, and Walking.
  • The Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) Program creates a stable and safe environment for clients and families to heal through the use of advocacy, support, setting and planning out goals.
