Homeless Services

Catholic Charities’ Danbury Homeless Services include a variety of trauma-informed support programs that provide wraparound services to individuals and families who are experiencing homelessness, at risk of becoming homeless, or have been identified as chronically homeless. Our centrally located office at 405 Main Street serves as the Coordinated Access Network (CAN) Hub for greater Danbury, and we strive to make accessing services and staying connected to them as easy as possible for those in need of help. Each year, the Homeless Services team assists more than 500 households comprising all ages, genders, races, and ethnicities as they work to prevent homelessness or resolve it as quickly as possible. The Homeless Services team also works closely with our many partner agencies in Danbury and throughout Fairfield County to ensure that clients receive appropriate referrals and timely services.

Catholic Charities’ Homeless Services programs are intended for those who are at imminent risk of or currently experiencing unsheltered homelessness. Our services can be accessed by:
– Calling 211
– Calling Catholic Charities’ Danbury Hub at 203-743-4412 and selecting Option 3
– Making use of our walk-in hours at 405 Main Street in Danbury on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 10:00am-3:00pm.
