KATE KONING, MA, LPC
Kate works with adults, children and families with a wide array of challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma recovery, relationship and family difficulties, addiction and overall life stress. She takes a holistic approach focusing on the mind body connection to help clients understand how past experiences can influence the present and outlook on the future. Navigating through a trauma informed lens, she can help clients remove old patterns and belief systems and enjoy life. Her approach is warm, supportive, and non -judgmental. Kate has a master’s degree in community counseling from Fairfield University and is a licensed professional counselor. Kate has over 10 years of clinical experience across a variety of treatment settings including inpatient psychiatric hospitals, structured PHP/IOP programs, and outpatient clinics. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her children, traveling, and doing yoga.
