Elana Yaghsizian, MFT
Counselor
Elana holds her graduate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, and specializes in couples and family work. When doing therapy with individuals, Elana maintains a lens of systems thinking: how each of us are all both simultaneously influencing and are influenced by our environment. She loves to work with children of all ages and has experience in both private and public school systems. In her work, Elana integrates Internal Family Systems therapy (IFS) to address anything from serious trauma to smaller issues that simply impede optimal functioning. She enjoys helping her clients achieve harmony in their emotional landscape and shed their pre-conceived ideas of how they “should” feel. Elana is a Connecticut native and enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and two children any chance she gets.
