Mary-Beth Petersen, was named Vice President of Human Resources for Catholic Charities of Fairfield County in 2016.  Mary-Beth began working at Catholic Charities in 2007 as HR Director and then Sr. Director before assuming her current role.

Prior to joining Catholic Charities, Mary-Beth worked in both the Insurance and Financial Industries in NYC as a Compensation Specialist with the Continental Corporation and as a Human Resources Consultant at Deloitte Haskins and Sells/Deloitte and Touche.   After relocating to Fairfield County, Mary-Beth co-founded the Human Resources consulting firm, PI Consulting, Inc., in New Canaan CT.

Mary-Beth graduated from Queens College, CUNY, with a BA in Psychology and Economics.  She resides in Wilton CT where she enjoys hiking, is an avid gardener and a certified hospice volunteer.
