Organization: Catholic Charities of Fairfield County – New Outlook Counseling Clinic
Location: Flexible (Hybrid: Remote Supervision & In-Person Client Hours)
Compensation: $200 per hour – Guaranteed minimum of 5 hours per month
Catholic Charities of Fairfield County is seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatrist to serve as the Medical Director for its New Outlook Counseling Clinic. This is a part-time, contract position, providing a flexible opportunity ideal for a dedicated professional looking to provide clinical leadership while maintaining a limited time commitment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide bi-monthly supervision (twice per month) to our two Psychiatric APRNs. Supervision is conducted jointly and totals two hours per month (virtual or in-person).
- Be available to see clients, in person, for up to three hours per month.
- Ability to do Psychiatric intakes on minors.
- Offer clinical guidance and consultation as needed to support psychiatric care delivery.
Time Commitment & Flexibility:
- Guaranteed five paid hours per month.
- Schedule is completely flexible and can be coordinated to fit your availability.
- Hybrid role: Supervision and client sessions can be done remotely; however, office space is available for in-person sessions.
Qualifications:
- Board-Certified Psychiatrist with an active Connecticut medical license.
- Experience supervising APRNs preferred.
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
Compensation:
- $200 per hour.
- Minimum payment guarantee of 5 hours per month, regardless of actual time worked.
- Additional hours up to 10 per month at the psychiatrist’s discretion.
