Warmline

samsung-idcs18d-telephone-largeThe Warmline Program is a non-crisis phone line for individuals in recovery from mental illness who could benefit from support in the evenings. The Warmline Program services the Greater Danbury area.

The Warmline program is a good support if you want to call and hear a friendly voice, feel lonely and want to chat, share something with an Operator in confidence, or want to learn more about what community resources are available to assist you with any needs you may have. Our Warmline operators are also consumers who are not only friendly and compassionate, but are also knowledgeable about mental illness and local services.

To contact a Warmline Operator, dial (203) 917-4712. You will need to leave a message so be sure to say your name and phone number very clearly. An Operator will return your phone call shortly thereafter.

We know that the information you share may be very personal. Please be assured that all calls and information are confidential and that the people who staff the phones will respect that.

This is not a crisis phone line. If you are having a psychiatric crisis, call the Regional Hotline at 1 (888) 447-3339.

The Warmline is only available to those living in the Greater Danbury area. If you have questions about whether or not your town is eligible, contact either Larry Martin or Cami Peters.

The Warmline Operators work from their homes. Our mailing address is that of Catholic Charities, New Heights Program, located at 66 West Street, Danbury, CT 06810. The Program Coordinator is based at New Heights.
